...I didn't drop the ball, just bobbled it a little bit (lol). The Roots dropped this past Tuesday. Going for more of a Hip-Hop Appeal this month! Rumor is that "Rising Down" is their last album as a group. I'll remain a nonbeliever to that though!

First off, I'm assuming that all of you music connoisseurs on here have ventured to a Roots concert and have seen them put on a PHENOMENAL show (your "bucket list" should include attending at least 15-20 Roots concerts).
What consistently amazes me about this group is their versatility on stage and on their head-banging albums. Although "Rising Down" has it's dark moments, the Roots never let you down with innovative tunes like "75 Bars," "I Will Not Apologize," & "Singing Man." They know how to bring the complexity+simplicity of music to the forefront and they do it with an audacious attitude. They extend beyond the narrow confines of the hip hop musical classification and present pure & genuine music.
Add "Rising Down" to your collection immediately!!!
