Yo...Al Green has dropped a new album (late May) with features from Anthony Hamilton, Corrine Bailey Rae, and John Legend. Musical Contributions and Production by Dap Kings (Amy Winehouse).

I have been jammin' at my desk a work...my co-workers are looking at me hella sideways! Im buying the album TODAY immediately after work!

The Roots (Rising Down)

...I didn't drop the ball, just bobbled it a little bit (lol). The Roots dropped this past Tuesday. Going for more of a Hip-Hop Appeal this month! Rumor is that "Rising Down" is their last album as a group. I'll remain a nonbeliever to that though!

Amp Fiddler (Afro Strut)

New selection for February! Initially (since not enough people voted), I thought to go with Van Hunt in his new album release. However, he postponed the release of his third album until some other time.

December Updates

...so,...well...yeah, did it again! I didn't stay consistent with the time frame. But that's fine.
Lets take the rest of this month to listen to all the artist on review thus far. Post any comments about those artist, opinions you have, etc.!

It seems the focus on this forum right now is underrated/unknown artists with QUALITY sound and talent. So I think we'll stay in that vein.

So then, feel free to recommend any artist that may be a good look (listen). And check the new polls too!

Chrisette is definitely a welcome artist to the run of the mill formula artist out there. Her style is for the old soul but also has a lot to offer the younger generation. I just saw her in concert and I must say she sounded exactly like her cd. she's a real talent and something of a diamond in the rough in my opinion. I believe her stage presence is really improving but she's always had the talent.. . .
